Loft hatch solution

I bought this to secure a downward opening loft hatch, does the job perfectly. Aligning the two components a bit hit and miss as instructions don’t take an overhead application into account. Also the temporary striker plate to mark the catch screw hole won’t stay in place, when used in this orientation, without the use of a bit of sellotape.
