Poor plastic mouldings.

The knobs themselves were attractive. However the plastic inserts that accept the spindle and hold the grub screw appear to be mal-formed. As you place the spindle into the knobs the spindle is offset and only becomes more offset when the grub screw is tightened. It fouls on the grub screw nut that is set partially into the plastic. The spindle was too short for my door. (My fault for not checking) As the spindle is offset as you place it into the knob there was a very limited length the knob could accept.

Good service and a great quality product. Would use again.

Nice knobs

So far, these doorknobs seem a cut above the rest that look the same. Hopefully they’ll be worth the extra cost. I have high hopes for them!

well made and a good replacement for an old, very similar door knob, in a period house.

Spindle doesn't fit

Disappointing that, having chosen the more expensive of two options for white porcelain door knobs, we found that the spindle didn't fit in either a standard mortice lock or the knobs themselves, but required filing down. Plus there was a very small flaw in the porcelain on one knob. Not the high-quality manufacture that we were expecting. I have already reported this to IronmongeryDirect.
