Good heavyweight piece of brass.

A good heavyweight brass cabin hook. I have broken a few lightweight cheaper ones and feel this one will last as it is heavier and more chunky. Good value for money, I was pleased when it arrived, as it straight away felt good quality.

Looks to be a good quality product

I had a recurring problem with the cabin hooks we were using to hold a heavy wooden door at the exit of our crematorium chapel in that they were only lasting a short time due to the fact that they were made of a cast alloy and could not withstand heavy usage. This cabin hook is forged from one piece of metal therefore stronger. Time will tell as it has only been fitted for a few days.
