Hampstead brass door bolts

Very expensive for a poor quality product, when fitting found the shoot boits to be bent, had to remove plastic shims, to allow then to operate .very disappointed. Would have returned but for the fact that, doors would have been unsecured.

Looks good

Does the job very well. However the screws provided were far too weak for the bolt. I had to buy different screws. Not uncommon these days on such products.

Ok product, no real issues

These look nice from a distance and on the whole are ok. The brass is a little rough around the edges, and the detentions spring is not consistent between each one. They are a little ficketty to install as it’s quite easy to pinch the barrel. But they’re ok and do look nice in situ
