I bought a number of different types of cabin hooks. Mega impressed with the quality. I have purchased same in you usual typical large retailer and have always been disappointed as they all look like cheap mass production items.im sure the hooks I purchased from Iron Mongery Direct are mass produced too but to a far better quality standard.

Simple and elegant

Bought two of these for my garage door and back door which are often left open and swing in the breeze. They are well finished and seem to be up to the job. I rawplugged the wall for the hook plate fastening and replaced the screws with longer ones, but otherwise so far all seems well. The rivet head for the wall plate hinge is upward facing which is a pity - I would have had it underneath as I expect in time some fine rusting might occur.

Exactly what I wanted, however inclusion of some rawl plugs would have been appreciated.
