Quality did not reflect price

I was unsure whether to buy this as it was three times the price of another thumb turn I'd used previously on another door, but I didn't want them all to be the same! I was disappointed to find that the ridge detail on the rose was not smooth - nicks/lumps - although I expect that when in use you wouldn't notice. Otherwise a nice-looking item. I shall return as in the end the size put me off - bigger in all respects than the other type.
