Well built solid lock

I have been fitting these locks all around my house to 44mm fire doors. The build is good and the bolt throw is 20mm. As we are using sprung handles I have removed the additional latch spring from the lock. As the lock is well designed you just remove it from the back of the case, simple. The lock is pierced to allow bolt through screws for our handles too. This means the kids will never pull the handles off the door, another reason I chose these locks. The keep is adjustable so just fit it and tweak the latch part of the keep with a screwdriver and your door won't rattle when closed. No more trying to move keeps or filing the keep. As the keep is two piece with a plastic insert for the holes it isn't the easiest to fit but not hard either just take it easy with the chisels. With so many locks on the market to choose from this isn't an obvious choice for a home owner as it's a bigger cut out but when fitted it feels "quality" to use. I've fitted a fair few locks in my time as I used to be a locksmith and recommend this product big time.
