Ridiculously excited

Having moved to, and designed an extension and energy retrofit to our home, we'd spent the two years since moving in using a hefty stone cat which we'd had for years to hold open our substantial side gate and stop it swinging closed on its magnetic lock. Both feet had dropped off the stone cat and it was looking in a sorry state, plus it was a bit of a duff way to hold open what was a carefully-designed gate on an architect-designed (ie me) house. Having spent months trying to work out the right search term for what turned out to be a "door holder", I bought this one. Simple, elegant, durable-looking and fits with four screws. I now take the rubbish and recycling out to the bin just for the sheer, unreasonable pleasure of clicking the gate open. Social media, beware.
