Works perfectly as a transom trim for my modified Pacer dinghy

Bought this to protect the edge of the new re-enforced transom from being damaged by the 5HP engine when mounted to go fishing rather than sailing. Granted, not quite the standard use, but perfect for the job.

The glazing channel was damaged in transit. When I notified Ironmongery Direct, they responded straight away to advise they were organising a replacement which came within 2 days. Couldn't fault their response and customer service.

Simple, shiny and should last forever

I bought this to install 10mm shower screen as I wanted a simple clean installation. This is just the job. Would have given 5 stars if it was pre-drilled, but we're all going to want holes in different places, so probably a little unfair. It was very well protected with tape which I split down the back and part removed to allow most of the shiny side to stay protected when I installed with clear silicone. Peeled away after to reveal beautiful shiny stainless steel. I used one channel on wall and one on floor. Silicone in the screw holes, siliconed to wall/floor then 24 hrs later lots of silicone in the channel and oozing out. 48 hrs later scored with new blade and peel/scrape remainder away. Looks brilliant.
