Does not do what it says on the box bye to the bolt not stay in place when locked

Solid build quality, good for double doors

Fitted to our wooden side hinged double doors. The long throw means the lock won't fail if the doors shift slightly (unlike a standard sash lock). We're delighted with the build quality and our joiner fitted it in 15 minutes (I could probably have managed myself in under an hour). The thumb turn mechanism is handy for easy opening from the inside. Note that this lock isn't kite marked, so insurance companies may not favour it. However, it looks very good to me!

Solid but had one failing

Solidly built with all the fixings, drill bits and fixing template included in the box. Easy to install although the space bit is good for one use as other reviews have stated. My only criticism is that the bolt doesn't lock into position and can still be slid by hand. You need to position it so this can't be done from the outside. I guess it's more of a deterant than anything else but still a quality product.

Great lock

Easy to install and the lock is super smooth. Drill bits provided are on the cheap side, so probably only good for this job and then worth getting rid of!
