Door struts
Door struts were brilliant and stopped toy box lid closing on kids hands etc.
Perfect replacement
Brought to replace some 80N gas spring stays perfect fit.
Just the thing for the purpose.
The 150n is a very strong spring stay so it is important that the correct one is bought for the job in hand. My purchase was for a cupboard over and up opening door (60cm wide by 45cm deep) and the door is quite heavy and I think a 140n would have been enough really, anything less would be too weak. Fitting instructions could be improved.

No good for toy boxes
We bought these having read a review that they were suitable for a toy box lid. We fitted one to ours and whilst it held up the lid, it does not prevent it from slamming down. The stays are not suitable.

Rubbish stay
First one I fitted broke and all the others looked like they were going to break. Really badly made weld on the bracket. Won’t be using these again.
