I bought this stay to hold a lid open on a cabinet. It is just what I needed, no bumped heads here!

Purchased 2 gas stays for a glass fronted church noticeboard. Excellent and prompt service.

Replacement

Existing stay (one of the pair) failed to provide enough resistance to keep the cupboard door open. the new one is a direct replacement, so was easily fitted and works well. Excellent service from IronmongersDirect.

Does exactly what I wanted

I bought these to replace existing stays that weren't working on 6 kitchen cupboards. Initially I got one each of 3 different "strengths" as they are not very expensive and that seemed the easiest way of deciding what force works best. I'm very pleased with the finished job.

Perfect direct replacement for failed unit

I had a unit fail on a Kitchen unit fitted 3 years ago and this was a direct replacement. Popped the old on off and put the new one on. simple. Good instructions supplied if I was fitting normally though. Excellent service and delivery.
