Adequate and just works as a stay.
Sadly the two stays were like 2 different products. One stay friction adjuster was very tight and could not be slackened off and the other had no resistance and the plastic friction adjuster screw broke before having any affect. As a pair they just about work. As a stay o.k., and cheap enough to be thrown away if they cause any further irritation in operation.
