Stay by me

The components of this stay are held together by peened over rivets, some of which are quite tight, and others very slack. The stays are supplied in handed pairs, but can only be fitted to a thin walled (10 mm) box in one configuration (in my case the wrong one). The only way to rectify this is to remove one of the rivets and replace it with a 2mm bolt. Quality could be better, but the brass plating is nice.

Cheap made product

These are thin metal. Easily bent like a pair of glasses arms. They are stiff to operate. I'm returning them
