- Freedor SmartSound is a unique wireless device installed at the top of a fire door allowing the door to swing freely and be left open in any position
- The free-swing mode removes all resistance from heavy fire doors making them easier to open
- The SmartSound listening technology will identify the sound of the fire alarm and close the doors, preventing the spread of smoke and fire
- Powered by a 9v Alkaline battery with an expected life of up to 3 years
- All primary (non rechargeable) batteries should be replaced annually as recommended under BS7273
- Suitable for a Standard (category B) system under BS 7273
- Fire tested to EN1634-1 on FD30 doorsets, exposed and unexposed faces
- Compliant to EN1154, EN1155, EN1634
- CE & UKCA marked
- Power size EN3 - suitable for doors up to 950mm width & 60kg weight
- Replacement battery packs available to purchase separately - search for 'freedor battery pack'
