disappointed with the threads. There is little thread depth which is probably fine for securing in wood but not so good for brick walls. I used 8 mm vine eyes so drilled wall 10mm and inserted plugs; then drilled out the plug with a 6mm drill to screw in the eyes. That has made a very secure fit.

Incorrect product drawing

The schematic for the length of these is incorrect; described as 130mm with a 100mm unthreaded portion. This might seem obvious that total length would be 100mm, however it’s especially frustrating as the 150mm version is in fact closer to 175mm (as it’s drawing states!)

Ideal screw eye

A product perfect in length & diameter to give adequate support for wires used to train climbing roses.Easy fixed into brickwork with an appropriate wall plug. Recommended.
