perfect deflection

I purchased this deflector to replace the wooden one that had rotted. Easy to cut and fit but one slight issue is the screws supplied are not that brilliant. I used some of my own screws which tightened up no problem.

Disappointing

The illustration in the catalogue and on the website is misleading. It shows no fixings suggesting that they are concealed in the channels on the rear of the weather bar. This is not the case, the screws fix through pre-drilled holes on the surface. The aluminium is thinner than is suggested in the illustration, and is not an anodised finish but a semi-polished aluminium. The plastic end caps are shaped to avoid the bar catching on the frame when opened, great idea. However, the quality is poor and despite being difficult to fit on the end of the bar, fall off really easily and will need to be glued in place.

Non-sharp edges

Great rain bar. Instead of a sharp edge that could cut a nasty wound in your foot it has nifty end caps cut at an angle
