This chubb style lock on a 5 point door lock is excellently secure

I bought a solid oak door and wanted a 5 point door lock but with a chubb not a yale style key. This is an excellent bit of kit, very well made, I simply routed the timber and fitted it in.

I have fitted several multipoint locks, all with euro cylinders, in plastic and wooden doors, this is the first Vectis Plus 5 lever door lock. Easy to route out the slot and plunge cut for lock and hooks, simple to drill out for handles and fitted first time in wooden firecheck door and keeps fitted easy too, with good adjustment after fitting. Wish i'd taken my dremel with me to cut the spindle and bolts, and also the top and bottom of the lock outer plate which was much longer than the 2010 high door. Altogether a good security lock and more secure as bump proof, cheeper too as didn't have to pay out for an extra euro cylinder, so client happy also.

Good product

Good product with clear instructions. Works well. The adjustable feature of the frame fittings is useful but you don't necessarily need to use it.
