Good quality and easy to fix

Used these to replace old and broken Cotswold OS950 handles. Although the bolt centres are the same, I had to enlarge the holes in the upvc frame to accommodate a larger flange and sit flush. I used a 10mm drill with the point ground off to avoid damage to the window mechanism. Takes about 5 minutes to fit. The spindles had to be cut to length using a hacksaw. Replaced 20 handles in all and the windows look good.

Exactly what I wanted

My local window replacement firm could no longer source these handles and I have a cottage full of replacement windows with this pattern and all failing due to age. After some searching Ironmongery Direct to the rescue and I now have a set of spares to last me another 10 years ! Thank you

Bought to replace 20-year old, worn out window catches. Products were well packed and delivered super fast. New catches are better design and feel more robust. Spindles needed cutting to length with hacksaw and cut ends de-burring with file before installation. Other than that, fitted perfectly into existing uPVC frames and mechanisms.
