Replaced the original latch and keep recesses exactly
This replacement latch was purchased to replace the existing which had worn over a great many years. A pity it was supplied with a replacement rim lock, which was not required as the existing lock was in perfect working order: it would be a good idea if the replacement latch could be supplied without the rim lock
