Great for older houses

We've a B&B in a late Georgian house. Using metal push plates for doors looks utterly characterless so I was pleased to find these. They're well made and a sensible size that fits the proportions of the door timbers nicely. They are rather pricey though and it's that which has lost that 5th star. I've not had any break on fitting or use but some have arrived broken so they can be a bit delicate, and the possibility of wasting a tenner by a slightly over-tightened screw is a bit naff. (The broken-on-arrival ones were replaced without hesitation - no issue there).

These were purchased to add some class to our bedroom doors and they certainly did the trick. They are well made, very stylish and were perfectly packaged.
