Excellent quality fixings, great value and great service

Excellent quality screws and plugs. These have securely held my sturdy Elfa verticals, brackets and shelves on the garage breeze-block wall for 3 years. I’m now fixing some more Elfa shelving racks on the adjoining wall but couldn’t find anything like these fixings locally especially in small sets. Ironmongery Direct sent these to me in less time than I’d spent trailing round looking for something similar! I wholeheartedly recommend both these fixings and the great service, thank you.

Screws great but wallplugs too large

The screws are of the right size and length to solidly fix the Elfa twin slot shelves to a plasterboard wall. However, the wallplugs supplied are too large, they are suitable for a size 8 masonry bit but the screws and wallplug I used with a size 6 bit (left of the picture shown) secure the twin slot shelving extremely strongly. I blame this on Elfa not Ironmongery, whose service is superb!

Quality fixings

As with all elfa products these are high quality fixings. They are perfect for elfa products and would do a solid job in other applications too.
