Excellent quality

I was really pleased with the quality of these hinges they were to replace hinges on a shed purchased three years ago and they fitted perfectly didn’t even need any new drew holes. The hinges are finished to a high quality and the weight of them tells you they are made from good quality material would deffo recommend and will purchase again if necessary

Poor quality control and packaging

Had to return several of these due to either defects in the coating/foundry or, more commonly, damage caused by really poor packaging - a massive box with minimal paper padding and no sellotape holding boxes shut. Eventually, however, replaced and without any quibble. Pleased with the hinges themselves, particularly the coating which makes them far nicer than rough, rusty raw forged (but cheaper) ones. Charged for replacements until returns arrive but carriage is free.

A quality product

The hinges were purchased to hang a purpose made softwood F.L. & B external yard Gate, it was definitely worth paying for a good quality hinge, with such a heavy Gate, which has proved to be the correct decision, a sound job, excellent finish with the added longevity these hinges will provide.
