Quick delivery but poor quality.
The order was processed quickly and arrived within 48 hours but when the item was unpacked the finish on the jambs was very poor. The varnish had not taken to the timber leaving the finished surface rough and unsightly. I have raised this with Ironmongery Direct but it is now over a week later and I am still waiting on an email confirming a new item will be supplied. I have used Ironmongery Direct a number of times before and they have always supplied good quality products until this occasion. Hopefully this can be resolved quickly and the project can be completed.

Fire pocket door
It’s actually oak and prefinished. And a bit pricey given that the pocket kit is the same as the std. I think ones paying for the certification. !
