You will need to fit this to comply with Building Regulations.
Easy to fit if you install it when you fit the frame. If you retro fit you it will push the closed side jab over by 12mm and you'll need to take the door off. Don't expect it to move anything over 35kgs. A lot of money for what it is but you can not comply without it.
