I think this solved my problem
The top hinges on the entrance doors to our village hall were breaking (cast aluminium with steel insert) These looked the same in the picture but are in fact different with a bearing and a slightly smaller hole for the pivot. However, the bearing has a conical hole and the pivot seems well located. Time will tell. Much better quality than the old ones
