Very useful door closing damper.

This is a very useful door closing damper in cases where nothing can be put near the hinge. I works very well. The fitting does require moderately high DIY skills, and in most cases some adaption of the instructions would be needed. However, once installed it works very well. The adjustment of the speed of closing, i.e. the amount of damping, works very well, and there is a surprisingly large amount of adjustment available. I used this on an internal old door in a church, and it is very effectively keeping children's fingers safe from a door slamming shut.

It’s brilliant , it stops the door slamming and waking or annoying the people on the ground floor , we have a huge Victorian door. It also protects the door, it started to split at the top , now it closes slowly and clicks shut
