Troublesome to install

I ordered some of these for a bespoke folding kitchen table. Making a jig to cut the recesses took several hours, but there was still a gap of 3-5 mm between the leaves, so they were not suitable. Also the knuckles were stiff, and I had to swap out the screws for shorter ones. The recesses needed to be using a router with guide bush at two different depths, plus curves at both ends. Any mistakes would be very visible on a table top. Although the weight capacity of 10kg was good, for me the installation process was just too unreliable. What might have helped would be some detailed instructions with paper templates.

Nice finish on these hinges, but let down slightly by not being symmetrical in shape, so jig i made up for the router needed to fine tuned

Exactly what I was after

Having spent a good while trawling the internet for discrete hinges for some table leaves, I found these. They are tight and feel solid, and have 180degrees of movement. Easy enough to fit if you know your way around a router. Great quality. They were a bit squeaky to start with but a drop of lubricant in each hinge did the trick. I'm very happy with them.
