Pleased with the door holders overall. A little tricky to work out the correct orientation for fitting. Had to google to find instructions in the end as none were supplied in the box. The release string is poor and has started to fray already after only a few uses, so that's a bit disappointing.

Does the job

I bought a pair of these for some heavy wooden garage doors, having previously used them on another job. They are great, easy to fit and do the job well. hold the doors open and stop the wind blowing them against the door frame. No instructions with it but can be found on google.

Adequate for general use.

Will do the job ok but not for heavy use. The river that fastens the stay to the head bracket is not very sturdy. On one bracket it had been riveted so tight I had to spend time and oil loosening it up but that was better than the other side that hadn’t been riveted tightly enough. Cords had been threaded the wrong way through the hole and had to untied and retied. No great issues and they work well enough.
