DIFFICULTY FITTER

I found that it was extremely difficult to fit to My UPVC Windows due to space between Window and frame- Managed it on one, but the other failed and the lock did not work - Not a Happy Bunny for the price paid !

Window restrictors

Two pack window restrictors for downstairs bedroom windows. arrived quickly. Bit fiddly to fit but can now have bedroom windows open a few inches on muggy nights! Customer service excellent when I had a problem with one of the locks. Sent replacement out next day no quibble. Would use the company again for sure.

Don't use

I bought these to act as restrictors on a PVC top hung window. It took me a couple of hours trying to figure out how to fit just one of them to the window for it to work. The instructions were poor. I did eventually manage to get the unit to work once. The restrictor then jammed completely and I could not open the mechanism with the key provided. This meant I could not unhook the restrictor to let the window open wide should I have wished to exit. In my opinion these restrictors are a liability and are not fit for purpose

Safe and secure

Fitted on pvc windows. Need to buy correct screws.

Almost perfect

Good product but needed work to install. The limited space between my casement windows and the frame meant that the restrictors would not fit. I was able, however, to modify the wooden frame to allow the restrictor to be set into the frame. This then created a secondary issue for the moving part of the restrictor, which entailed further frame removal, to allow the window to close. I had to install the restrictor in a horizontal plane (there was no room at either side of the opening casement) which then further restricted the amount of opening I could achieve. A good product, but check first the overall space required before attempting to fit this item.
