Not Very Good

I’ve had nothing but trouble, trying to get the braked wheels to stay braked. They are pretty much useless.

So far so good

So far these casters seem good quality and should be up to the job but they have only been installed for a week so time will tell. One thing to note is that the pictures are not exactly the same as the product that actually arrived as the castors actually had metal brakes fitted not plastic ones like pictured

General purpose castor pack

So glad that I found Ironmongery direct. They have such a variety of products. I purchased the general castor pack for a job I was doing and they are excellent and a good price. I now only have to look through their catalogue the next time I need hardware for a job instead of searching the internet. Would recommend the product and company.

Really?!

First time I use them but one of the inner ball bearings came off 2 days after I fit it...and the unit hadn't even left the house, i.e. nice flat floor. Not sure if it's a one off or a design problem. On the plus when locked the wheel stays perpendicular unlike other castors that lock at an angle.

These were stage set. Just as expected except having the brake on also stops that castor swivelling
