Good and solid does what it needs to do. One little thing it would be great if it came with a raw plug, its such a large anchor link that not many people would have a raw plug that big at home. I would definitely recommend the product

Alot more robust that I anticipated. Easy to fit. Very good item.

Very Good Bit of Kit

I bought this item to secure a standard wooden fence gate where the latch I had would no longer reach to the post because the post has moved over time due to tree roots. This fastener is doing the job although figuring out where to screw in the loops was trial and error. I got it right the first time only by luck. This is a sturdy bit of kit which I expect to last a long time due the thickness of the components and the galvanizing. I would have given it 5 stars but there were two things which I thought were not great - 1) the threads on the loops which is threaded into the wood is not great and 2) the latch on the fastener is not spring loaded as I thought it would be. Both minor so overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Does what it says on the tin

Could do with a name change as I have been searching for these for weeks with all kinds of key words but no luck. Include the word fieldgate and all would be well! Sturdily made but the spring clip wont last for many years without a regular WD40 squirt. The fixings are not heavily threaded so I shall make the holes a tight fit and use a hammer
