I wanted to buy this tool for a long time but I wasn’t sure from photos how it will work. Seen to a colleague and straight away bought it. Worth all the money

Eco drill

The Eco drill is probably the only product of it’s type around this price range, so not really any competition to fairly compare it against. It’s better than all the cheap options, but they are all considerably cheaper so it should be. The forstner bit is not of the highest quality and is slow to cut. And no, I haven’t overheated it by having it on the high speed drill setting, and I use it in 3 second bursts. It clogs easily with no chip extraction. It does clamp well to the piece being drilled. It is precise, with nice adjustable features. I like the quick release clamping and the fixed drill bits to the side of the forstner bit are quick and easy to change between. Using one drill to bore all the necessary holes is a real time saver. You have to pay a lot more for time gains over the eco drill. I would buy again if needed, despite poor chip removal and forstner bit.

Fabulous tool for the on-site drilling of hinge holes in kitchen doors. Precise, accurate, adjustable too (which is needed for doors on washing machines) and also pricks the two screw holes.
