it looks as though my hinges on our kitchen cabinets are obsolete so i contacted iron mongers direct and they recommended an alternative . they were delivered next day.Now fitted and working perfectly.

we tried several types of bracket without success so we tried the Blum Aventos four our overhead kitchen units they were exactly what we were looking for.

Overhead Door hinges with soft close

An excellent choice for this job, making an overhead bin for a refrigerator. The only difficulty was finding the actual pdf from Blum to give me the mounting dimensions. These could be included in the package for those not in possession of a CNC machine. The door I mounted was a solid 18mm sheet, and the adjusters allowed me to tune the opening height to exactly where I needed it to be. PS do not play with these hinges, they bite.
