Well worth the extra cost for this stainless door rail. Excellent quality product. Well packaged and arrived very quickly. I will definitely use IronmongeryDiuect again.

High quality track system.

I bought the Stainless track. All the parts were nicely finished and of high quality. However, I did have a few minor issues. The door being fitted was heavy. Very heavy. I found that the bases of the spacers for the rail dug into the plasterwork and then tilted down. I had to cut out the plaster and strengthen everything behind. The base of the spacers for the runners would have been better in my case if they were larger. Maybe an option to purchase a spreader plate as an extra would be a good idea. My only other issue was adjusting the soft open/close mechanism. This is done when everything is fitted. There is no key sup[plied for the adjustor and I have no clue what size it is. Certainly it didnt seem to be one of my large collection of Allen keys. I had to resort to Neanderthal hammer and punch method to make the final adjustments. Lastly, the packaging was inadequate. A long light cardboard box with just 3 rounds of tape. By the time the package had arrive to me the box lid was torn in half and all the small packages inside free to fall out. I was lucky. Nothing was missing. Customer services was brilliant when I called to check the contents. The box needs sealing much better or maybe enclosing in a plastic sleeve. I would happily buy this product again.

This is a superb looking piece of kit, unfortunately after much discussion it was not adjustable and therefore with regret had to return. Great service though, picked up next day and money back in 2 days, and very friendly and helpful on the telephone, highly recommend the company and will be making future purchases

Looks as good as it does in the photos

This was bought to replace and update a very old conventional sliding door mechanism and we are delighted with the result. Approached carefully, this is OK for an amateur to install. Only pictures for guidance but generally alright. Stops for the soft close mechanism are difficult and would be impossible with a very low gap between the top of the door and the ceiling.
