Exactly as expected.

I wanted something a little more presentable than the basic door closer that I've used previously, for the B&B lounge and dining room doors. This does the job fine and looks quite neat (as much as any door closer is going to look neat). Installation is a breeze with the supplied template - once you've worked out which one to use. The doors I'm using these on are big Georgian house doors and it handles then OK, although the doors do also have rising butt hinges. It's relevant to note that this closer has enough flexibility in the arm join to allow for fitting in conjunction with rising butts. Under the shell it's essentially a slightly larger copy of the Arrone basic unit, so it's quite a lot of additional cost for just the cover; but overall the unit is still good value.
