- Part of a core range of door furniture with a new nanotechnology anti-bacterial coating
- The coating protects people against viruses, bacteria and mould organisms, and avoids the need for chemical cleaning
- Once applied, it presents no hazards to people or animals and goes on protecting for up to 10 years
- This range is ideal for schools, hospitals, care homes, dentists, nurseries and other public areas
- It is also ideal for high congregation areas such as canteens, restaurants, stations and shopping areas How does it work?
- When Ultra Violet light strikes the particles in the coating, they are activated and emit electrons
- A powerful oxidising reaction is created which then breaks down organic compounds including bacteria, viruses, moulds and odours into water and carbon dioxide - these then evaporate from the surface. The range also has a 'self cleaning' effect that repels dirt and water on hard surfaces
- Cleaning is simple; warm clean water is required. NOTE: Chemical cleaners are not to be used on this product range, as these will affect the coating
- Kills 99.99% of MRSA, E.coli, SARS, Listeria, C.Difficile, Bacteria, Spores and Viruses

- The range features a cleverly designed double spring mechanism; the first spring powers the spring bolt when the door is closed, it is smooth and sufficient for this purpose. The second spring only applies its force to the spindle and consequently the door furniture. This second spring is strong and durable and intended for years of trouble free operation
- However, the big benefit to this second spring action is that it makes the latch particularly well suited to modern round bar furniture, helping to avoid the droop that you see on so many doors when an economy has been made in the specification of the latch
- 10 year guarantee
- NOTE: Intumescent should be used to ensure adherence to fire regulations
