Poorly made - sending back

Poorly made, falling apart, we will be sending these back. Do not buy this product. We saw bad reviews from a while back but thought the design would have been improved - but sadly not. Very disappointed in the company selling these.

Right product for the job

This sash stop was an ideal replacement for an old restrictor that was taken out of an old box sash window.

It is good for decoration only

The lock falls apart even befor you fit it, i will never buy this product again. They vary in shape as well.

Knock off Poor quality

Assembled wrong so that the polished side was facing the wall which is pointless., and the screw recesses on the wrong side as well. We did try flipping it, but it won't lie against the wall properly - so assembled with the hinge on the wrong side. Poorly made. Found a similar product elsewhere called Weekes - spelt properly, so are these a knock off?? £50 ish quid for a terrible product.

It appears they are not entirely machine manufactored, there are slight inconsistancies in the metal shape. It adds character and they do look good. However a few of them dont rotate the catch uniformly and then the inconsistant metal can catch a little. Could do with a tighter spindle. They come with screws, are quite servicable as described, and far better looking than those plastic screw in stops. I would buy them again, but for how much they cost you might want to buy 11 for every 10 you need.
