Hopeless to install, tiny tolerances and no instructions or cutting templates.

Looks nice and solid enough but hopeless to install. No instructions, no cutting template so you have to work it all out yourself. That's the hole for the letterbox opening, the recess so it sits flush on the door and the holes for the fixing bolts. The fact the nuts for the fixing bolts are closed dome heads also means you have to be pretty accurate cutting the bolts to get these to fix securely too. Not easy to try and replace them with a standard nut either as it seems to be an old imperial thread I think. So you can't even have a nut on the bolt to undo back over the cut threads to make sure the domed heads bolt on cleanly after cutting. Tolerance for letterbox flap to clear fixing bolts is literally a couple of millimetres. Much fettling required to get it positioned correctly. Doesn't help when the casting of the flap isn't accurate with one side edge running at an angle reducing the clearance even further as it opens. All in all very frustrating and time consuming. I'd avoid unless you have the patience of a saint.

I'm really pleased with my letterbox. It's a replacement for a much older one and this one is much more in keeping with the age and style of my house. Easy to fit and will be simple to remove for polishing - if I ever need to!

We haven’t fitted this authentic looking letter box WITH knocker for our late Victorian basement flat front door but it looks great!
