Manufactured to a very high standard. About 5mm thick solid brass with sprung letter flat. The springing mechanism takes up a fair amount of room at the back so the slot in the door needs to take account of this.

Good quality letter plate at a low price
Good quality, would definitely use again. Only minor down side was having to re-cut the door opening to accommodate the flap spring protrusion.
