The catch under the window stay is very tight so it is difficult to open/close.

I recommend this product, it satisfies my requirements. I purchased 19 of these, but one had a manufacturing upper surface fault, which I rejected and had replaced by Ironmongery Direct. Unfortunately the replacement had a similar fault and also had to be replaced. Ironmongery Direct should have checked over the original items (and the replacement item) to ensure they were fault free, before they were first despatched. It is important to me as a customer that the visible upper surface is pleasant to look at, which was the original reason for the purchase of the product at a higher price than the average similar products available. Ironmongery Direct Customer Service is excellent, they responded to all my telephone enquires before and after my purchase, with a helpful, friendly and problem solving manner. I would strongly recommend Ironmongery Direct to friends and family.
