Excellent brass door knobs, watch the quality though
I bought these door knobs to replace my internal door handles and they are excellent and do the job well. However, the quality control on on this product is a bit suspect. Out of 5 pairs I had to get 4 replaced due to various faults. To be fair, Ironmongery Direct staff acted promptly once they understood the problems and replaced the faulty product quickly.

Ideal to replace broken handles
Nice knob but 1 screw snapped off in door. Think the screws should be slightly smaller and tougher

Seemed a bit expensive for a pair of door knobs but they were of a good quality with a heavy, classy feel. I picked these because they were similar to ones that my customer already had and when I fitted them he was really pleased.

I purchased three sets to replace some worn out handles and needed something with a similar back plate to obscure the marks on the door. These knobs look lovely and have a feel of quality. They are not sprung, so you need to turn to open and again to close, which I have got used to doing. The brass is soft and prone to scratching.
