"..gaged" or "Vaca..."?

I love the look of these old-school lab-locks but these versions have a few problems. Firstly, the photo shown is not accurate. The ironmongery has much sharper edges and corners. You're not going to cut yourself, but they are unfriendly. Secondly, the build quality is awful. The dial is so loose on the spindle it doesn't travel far enough to show the whole word. You either get "..gaged" or "Vaca...".

Doesn’t work!

The indicator is in the wrong position, product just doesn’t work, really poor.

locks well

The engaged/ vacant sign is far to loose, unless I'm missing something when the lock is fully engaged the engaged rotary sign on the front of the door is not fully readable. Same when vacant . It almost needs gluing so The sign directly reflects the action of the lock.

Disappointing quality. The rotating parts are not quite aligned and there is excess movement in them which gives the product an inferior feel. Some of the straight edges are not so straight and are sharper than is comfortable for the user.
