Door latch

The image shows a standard latch it’s only when you see it you find it has two face plates, one quite heavy and recessed in the middle and then a finished face plate. This just could not work on the door I had It’s a good latch but not for some doors.

Door latch

Although of very good quality, this didn’t exactly replace the existing one we wanted to replace. Took some time with a hammer and chisel to make them fit. Maybe there is a less “heavy duty” item that would have fitted.
