Nice bracket, forget the screws

Actually just fitted these today. The bracket is quality with an excellent polished chrome finish. But why on earth supply them with No 6 screws which project about an inch through the bracket. Fine if fixing to solid substrate or timber pads but most commonly they'll be fitted directly onto plaster or plasterboard. The holes in the bracket plate needed drilling larger to accept No 8 screws yet the countersink was a perfect fit. I secured the brackets with 1 3/4" No8 screws with wall plugs through the plaster and into brickwork. I have to knock 1 star off for useless screws.

Good and strong, great finish, shame about the short/inadequate screws supplied, never mind soon replaced.
