Screws?

Swift delivery, decent product, but absolutely ridiculous that, not only are screws not provided, it’s pretty much impossible to get brown screws anywhere (still trying!). Who wants a brown flat flat bookcase strip with silver or gold screws?

Excellent inbuilt shelving system

I have used these shelf support strips over many years, ideal for book cases, and even retro fitted an ikea wardrobe. With a trimmer / router using the purpose made Trend bit, and then heavy duty shelf brackets, it makes for a really neat job.

Difficult to cut

I’ve used various bookcase strips in the past...this brown strip being the worst I have ever used. I’m a cabinet maker and usually join these strips when building bookcases. These brown strip we’re awful to cut because they got so hot that the brown anodised finish melted under the heat. Also your only choice for matching screws is silver or yellow finish, which stand out like a saw thumb. I had to use a black permanent marker pen to hide the joins and the screw heads.
