Perfect for what I wanted

Purchased to make an aditional close and secure method for my opening windows as they are quite large and the present fastner does not hold the bottom and top close into the draft excluder. These sah closers now screw up to keep the window tightly closed and secure.

Not suitable for the job

This product is well made, solidly constructed, fair price and arrived on time. So why have I only given it one star? Sadly the vital piece of information I needed to make it work was missing. The plate measurement fitted the window frame as expected but the knurled knob which goes into the vertical position to allow the sashes to slide past each other is too wide to go between the glass of the upper sash and the timber top rail of the bottom sash. as a result I have had to return these as unfit for my purpose. If this information was contained in the website information it would have saved Ironmongery Direct and myself a lot of effort and cost.

Excellent quality

I liked the product. One down side it comes with flat head screws.
