About this product
- Supplied as 3 hinges in a set
- It's now possible to achieve a considerable fitting time saving when fitting self closing doors where you would traditionally fit hinges and a chain closer
- The adjustable spring hinges featured here will close a door in a similar fashion to a chain type closer; sprung closing action without checking action
- If a controlled closing action is required then you should fit standard hinges and an overhead closer as featured elsewhere on our website
- The self closing spring tension can be disengaged by the removal of a small grub screw, allowing the door to swing freely, if it is no longer required to be a fire resisting door
- 30 minute fire rated
- Internal use
- Note: Intumescent pads should be used to ensure adherence to fire regulations
- Intumescent hinge pads are available in 100 x 30 and 100 x 43: search for 'intumescent hinge pads for FD30 and FD60' All of our hinge pads can be cut to size

Awful cheep and nasty product at an expensive price. I’m returning them. For refund.
Purchased for works at Nursery product did not work properly if not at all. Wasted time at own cost labour and totally embarrassing of non functional hinges mechanisms.

Good for the job....but
Bought for heavy garage door. Would be excellent for a first fix, but notice that the screw hole spacing is different to most other 100mm 4 screw hinges: x x vs x x x x x x I still managed to use, but believe screw fixing probably isn't as strong as it would have been if no previous hinge had been used.

New Door
Purchased these hinges to fit a new fire door. Nice shiny chrome. Look well made and solid.

Hello, Is the option of using a door closer out of the question? These hinges just self close so have very little control on the slamming side of things Thank you
