Excellent product.
Excellent for use in making frames for model railway boards, strong, very light, easy to cut and drill. Great alternative to timber, good value.

Worked exactly as I’d hoped
I wanted to create a barrier all along the outer edge of a flat roof on one side of our house; - a barrier to channel rain falling on the roof towards a gutter. Without this barrier, water was likely to pour over the edge of the roof on to people using our front door. I’m not thinking of Monsoon quantities of water, so a high, heavy-duty barrier wasn’t needed. But it had to be high enough - and resistant to British weather! Googled for inspiration and eventually arrived at the Ironmongerydirect company ............ ......... and lengths of aluminium angle proved to be the ideal solution: 25x25x1.6mm cross section, & 200mm long. Glued one of the 25mm sides to the roof felt along the edge of the roof, & the other formed a 25mm high barrier to water. 4 lengths of aluminium work completed the job Of course we’ve had nothing but glorious sunshine since the barrier was finished. And a little work with a hosepipe demonstrated the barrier does its job!
