DELIVERY FAQs
Choose from the following options:
If the goods you have ordered are damaged, faulty or incorrect, let us know within 7 days of receiving your order and we will arrange to have the products sent out again free of charge, or we'll give a full refund! This can be done via our contact us page found here.
If any items are missing from your order, then please get in touch with us via our contact us page found here.
If delivery is unsuccessful on the first attempt, the courier will try again the next working day. In some cases, your parcel may be delivered to a local pick-up point, where you'll have 7 days to collect it using a pick-up pass. If delivery fails twice to your address, the parcel will be returned, and you'll receive a refund.
If you wish to add delivery instructions, you can contact our Customer Service Team, where you know you're in good hands! Please ensure when contacting the team you provide your order number or invoice number with clear instructions you wish to add so these can be passed over to the courier who is delivering your parcel.
You can reach our team at 0300 303 8821 or via email at sales@ironmongerydirect.com.
Yes. You can choose to have your order delivered to an alternative address (not the billing address). Simply add a new delivery address when completing your order in the checkout and we will then email the invoice to you.
If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is usually returned to us by the carrier. Please double check your delivery address carefully when placing an order.
If the order is being despatched to a prison, there may be delivery restrictions associated with the items or couriers. These restrictions are determined by each institution and may vary. In this case, it would be best to get in touch with us via our contact page found here.
We are also unable to deliver to PO Boxes.

You will need to bring photo identification, for example a passport or driving licence.
There are a couple reasons this might be. In some remote locations, it take 2 days for orders to arrive and some items cannot be delivered by a standard courier, and therefore need a specialist courier.
Our Click & Collect network includes over 10,000 DPD parcel shops across the UK. The closest pick-up points will be presented to you when you select Click & Collect at the checkout.
A small number of items are excluded from Click & Collect, due to their dimensions. You will be informed of this during the checkout process.
Unfortunately, you cannot drop off items to be returned via the pick-up locations. However we do provide a freepost return label in the order box, so if you want to return something, simply check our returns process here.
